Overview

Detailed features and information

l-vehicleshop

A complete vehicle dealership system for ESX Legacy. Customers walk up to a seller or a marker, browse a catalog with prices and stats, and the car they select stands right next to them in a showroom they can turn with the mouse and zoom with the wheel. They pick the paint, take the car for a test drive, and buy it with cash or bank. Selling works the other way round: drive a car onto the dealership's sell spot, press E, and confirm the payout.

On top of the usual buying and selling, players can trade cars between each other. A contract item turns any owned vehicle into a private sale: the seller uses the item while sitting in the car, the nearest player receives the offer, the seller names the price, and the buyer sees the same sheet with the vehicle, the plate and the amount before confirming. The money changes hands and the car is written over to the new owner in one step, with the server checking ownership, distance and funds at the moment of the confirmation.

Bought vehicles go straight into the ESX owned_vehicles table, so the garage you already run finds them without any extra work. The resource brings no garage of its own and creates no database tables. Everything a server owner touches sits in two plainly commented files: config.lua holds the dealerships with their points, the camera, the payment settings, the discounts and the test drive, and catalog.lua holds the categories and every car with its price. Both are read on start and checked for mistakes, so a category that does not exist, a car nobody can see or a vehicle model your server does not stream is printed in the console instead of turning into a silent bug.

Features

  • Any number of dealerships, each with any number of locations, opened by a marker or by a seller NPC with ox_target

  • Showroom with a scripted camera per dealership, drag to turn the car, scroll to zoom, and a per location override for tight buildings

  • Paint picker that repaints the showroom car live and keeps the colour on the bought vehicle

  • Vehicle stats card with top speed, acceleration, braking, handling and seats

  • Test drives with their own duration, fee, account and area limit, and the panel comes back exactly as it was afterwards

  • Sell back at a drive in spot, with a payout set globally, per dealership or per single vehicle

  • Player to player sales through a contract item, with a two sided confirmation and a timeout

  • Discounts per job or ESX group, optional custom plates against a fee, and per vehicle job gates

  • Delivery either into the world or straight into the garage, with a check that the delivery spot is free

  • Boats and aircraft supported, including placing a boat on the water surface

  • Discord webhooks for purchases, sell backs and player contracts

  • English and German, and every colour of the interface in one file without a rebuild
